The Journey to Solo



Hello guys.
This is my story when I visited Solo.
Solo is one of our goals to holiday after national exam. I went to Solo with four my friends. They name are Kuswa, Rifka, Widiw, and Teja.

We went to Solo by train. This is my first time rode the train. We went to Lempuyangan station arround 8 a.m. There we bought five tickets of Sriwedari’s train. The price was cheap, just Rp 13.000 / tickets.

We arrived at Solo’s Balapan station arround 10 a.m. Out of the station you will be treated tourist transportations. But you must remember, its not free ! OK fix. We walked to Surakarta’s Kraton.

A few step out of station, we don’t know where will go ?? we used Google Maps App, but we still confused the way to go there. Finally decided to rode the pedicab. We payed Rp 20.000 to Surakarta’s Kraton. It takes 20 minutes to reached there.


To enter Surakarta’s Kraton we must payed Rp 10.000 / person. What was inside the palace ? The was not different from Yogyakarta’s Kraton. We can saw Golden chariot, Pendopo,pictures of Surakarta's King and others. If you enter Kraton region, you must removed your footwear if you wore slippers, but if you wore shoes you should not removed it.



The next destination was Pasar Klewer. One of the famous place in Solo. Out of Surakarta’s Kraton, rains flushed. I brought an umberella but my friend didn't. We sheltered in out Kraton. Arround one hour we sheltered then we continued our jurney. We walked to Pasar Klewer. Until there we just rounded in there, because sometime ago Pasar Klewer was burned. We just take a picture in arround it. We not shopped because our money it not enough.

The next destination is food stalls, because we hungried. Usually we ate chicken noodle and meat ball, one of our favorite food. As long as we ate, we can saw train arrounded city. “Solo. The spirit of Java” written in railway coach train, it's icon of Solo.

To go home, we planned to rode bus to go Solo's Balapan station. We asked police “Can I ride by bus for went to station ?” He answered “No, you can’t. You can ride by bus but you will reach Purwosari station. You can ride train there.”
“OK. Thankyou”. Fixed we walked to go to Solo Balapan station. In our journey we can took a lot of pictures on our way. We arrived Solo Balapan station about an hour.

We went to Lempuyangan station by Prameks train (Prambanan Ekspress) just Rp 8.000 for each person. We arrived at Lempuyangan station at 6 p.m.

This is my trip to Solo.

Ijo Temple

Ijo Temple is located in Berbah, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. About 30 minutes from Jogja city. Ijo Temple is the highest temple in the special area of ​​Yogyakarta. Not a high temple building but because of its location which is in the highlands of Jogja. To travel there we can ride a motorcycle, car, or bus. Ijo Temple admission price is quite cheap, only Rp 5000,00 only. Because of our impression to ride a motorcycle plus parking fee of Rp 2.000,00 only. Cheap enough is not it? Sunflowers

Hello March I was here. Here in Sun Flowers in Samas Beach, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Sunflower deliberately planted to attract tourists who want to visit Yogyakarta, especially as an attraction in the city of Bantul. This sunflower is located at the southern end of the city of Bantul that is along the southern highway, before entering the south coast. It takes about 30 minutes to get here from Jogja city. To produce sunflower as beautiful as this farmer takes about 3 months until this flower blooms. And flowers that bloom will last for about 2 months.
